Murals FAQ

Interested in a mural for your home or business? Here is some general information about the commission process. If you have other questions please email me using the contact page.

I’m interested, how does the process work?

First we’ll meet at the location where you’re interested in having a mural painted. I’ll take a look at the space, we’ll discuss your requirements, the sort of design your looking for, and if there is a specific timeframe. I’ll take some photographs, and then mock up some example designs. Once we settle on something you like we’ll work out a painting schedule, and I’ll get to work!

How long does it take?

The timeframe can vary quite considerably, depending on what you are looking for, the size, and level of detail. It may take a couple of days, or it may take several weeks. I will be able to give an idea of time once the design and location is set.

How much does a mural cost?

Like time, the price for a mural is very dependent on several factors:

  • Size
  • Level of detail
  • Interior or exterior
  • Position (high or ground level, ceiling etc.)

I charge a design fee before painting begins ($300) and once you have decided to go ahead with the project I require a deposit up front with the rest due on completion of the mural.
